Sometimes, it's better to be basic - and a dermatologist has weighed in on how one simple ingredient could drastically improve the skin of eczema sufferers. Content creator Sharon K. Xie took to TikTok to explain she had been suffering eczema - a chronic inflammatory skin condition that causes dry, itchy, and inflamed skin - and applying Aquaphor, a moisturizing ointment to help ease her symptoms. However, she claims after telling her dermatologist she was applying it, she was swiftly told to stop.
