University of Virginia issues emergency alert over 'active attacker with knife'
The University of Virginia issued an urgent warning to students on campus to 'run, hide and fight' while they were searching for a person with a knife attacking people. At least one victim has reportedly been rushed to hospital and their condition is unknown. The suspect was reportedly wearing a red hooded sweatshit and blue sweatpants and was last seen near the Alumni Hall. A later update said the suspect appears to be middle aged.
